The SOLVER suite provides a group of program templates to generate applications which
To define a specific model, the user comples a group of small subroutines written in the same programming language (pascal), as the main templates. The suite is supplied with a large group of examples which can be used as the basis for generating a wide range of models without the need for any specific programming skill.
Once a given model has been defined, the template is compiled into a finished application. In the MS-Windows version, this process is controlled by a GUI which also provides editing facilities, while in the UNIX version it is controlled by a command line script. In both cases, compilation and launch is a one-touch process, requiring no specific user skills.
In addition to the compiler driving utilities, SOLVER is supplied with a set of simple utilities for x-y graph plotting/printing, fast fourier transforms, and data export/import/merge.
